Our 22nd Homearama Home, Anmer Hall

This year, Wieland Builders celebrates our 22nd appearance at Homearama, the single-site new home showcase produced by the Home Builders Association of Greater Cincinnati. Homearama is a Cincinnati tradition, but for us, it’s a family tradition.

Our owners, Jeff and Mike, worked their first Homearama with their dad, Jack, in 1979. Even though they were only working the hot dog cart back then, the third-generation home builders grew up watching hundreds of thousands of people tour the homes their family built. Each show-goer imagines themselves living in a Homearama home, and they’re often vocal in what they want and need in a home. In the 39 years since the brothers’ first show, Wieland’s countless Homearama awards prove Jeff and Mike have been listening.

Anmer Hall
Homearama 2019 will take place from June 8-23 at Kensington in Deerfield Township. The community will be an English garden setting, and our home, Anmer Hall, reflects this theme. Named after the home of the Duke and Duchess of Kensington, our Anmer Hall is a sprawling country ranch featuring 4,638 square feet of comfortable living space.

Main Level
After entering through the double doors, the first thing show-goers will notice is the large foyer with high ceilings. Moving forward is the show-stopping great room, complete with a wall of built-ins surrounding a large fireplace. The open floorplan leads into a spacious kitchen on the right with a double-oven and energy-efficient appliances. The large formal dining room leads to both a covered porch and an open deck. The first-floor master suite features a large walk-in closet and master bath with a linen closet and shower area you’ll have to see to believe.

The main level also features a second bedroom, craft/flex room, pocket office, guest’s powder room, another full bathroom, mudroom, and a generously sized laundry room, not to mention two garages.

Lower Level
When it comes to entertaining, the lower level is a dream space with a game room, walk-up bar, and microwave. The lower level also features beautiful Jack-and-Jill bedrooms with plenty of closet space and an over-sized recreation room. There is also a large basement and plenty of unexcavated space that the new owners of Anmer Hall could use for an indoor pool, movie theater or additional bedrooms depending on their needs.

Homearama Information
Tickets are $19 at the gate, and discount tickets are available at area Kroger stores for $17. Children 12 and younger are admitted free if accompanied by an adult. As usual, no strollers, wagons or child backpacks with metal frames are permitted in the show homes. No pets are permitted within the show site, except for service animals.
