When Life Gives You Lemonade: Wieland Builders Partners with Payton’s Lemonade Stand for Cincinnati’s Opening Day Parade

Wieland Builders and Payton’s Lemonade Stand teamed up for the 2026 Opening Day Parade with the theme, “When Life Gives You Lemonade.”

At Wieland Builders, giving back to the community has always been an important part of who we are. That’s why we were honored to partner with Payton’s Lemonade Stand for the 2026 Findlay Market Opening Day Parade in downtown Cincinnati.

For decades, the Findlay Market Opening Day Parade has brought together businesses, organizations, families, and Reds fans to celebrate one of Cincinnati’s most beloved traditions. This year, our float carried a special message with the theme, “When Life Gives You Lemonade.”

The theme was inspired by the incredible mission of Payton’s Lemonade Stand, a local nonprofit dedicated to helping children and families facing medical, financial, and economic hardships. Through lemonade stands, community events, and fundraising efforts throughout the year, Payton’s Lemonade Stand provides meaningful support to families when they need it most. Payton was a guest on our podcast, The WB Download in 2025, listen to the episode about Payton’s Lemonade Stand.

As a family-owned company, we understand the importance of community and supporting one another through life’s challenges. Partnering with Payton’s Lemonade Stand allowed us to celebrate the spirit of generosity, resilience, and hope while participating in a Cincinnati tradition that means so much to our team.

The day could not have been more perfect. Under beautiful blue skies, thousands of spectators lined the streets of downtown Cincinnati to kick off Reds Opening Day festivities. Our team was proud to share the parade route with the volunteers, supporters, and families connected to Payton’s Lemonade Stand, helping spread awareness of the organization’s mission and the positive impact it continues to make throughout our region.

This partnership reflects Wieland Builders’ ongoing commitment to giving back to the communities where we live and build. While we are passionate about creating custom homes, we are equally passionate about helping create stronger communities. Supporting organizations like Payton’s Lemonade Stand is one way we can make a difference beyond the homes we build.

We are grateful to everyone who participated in this year’s parade and helped make the day so memorable. Most importantly, we thank Payton’s Lemonade Stand for allowing us to be part of its mission to bring hope and support to children and families facing difficult circumstances.

Because sometimes, when life gives you lemons, a community comes together to make lemonade.
