Heartland Reserve

Our clients at The Heartland Reserve located in Maineville, Ohio were entering a different phase in their lives and ready to move from their two story home that did not have a good layout and no longer fit their lifestyle. They were ready for their forever/retirement home. They also wanted an open concept space to entertain and enjoy family time with the grandchildren. Their forever home has a style that is both traditional and farmhouse mixed in. The exterior has a covered front porch, Hardie plank siding and shaker siding, board and batten shutters, stone, brick and black windows with white trim. A three-car garage with epoxy floors is not just for the vehicles but also for entertaining during football season!

Entering the home there is a tray ceiling with decorative molding and stained white oak hardwood flooring that is throughout the home. An open stairwell to the lower level has an iron marque pattern and a carpet runner. You can see the outdoor living area looking through the great room’s large windows and the kitchen/dining area that has a large sliding door to the covered screened-in porch.

The focal point of the great room is the stone fireplace with a raised hearth and mantel with corbels. The ceiling is coffered and there is lots of storage with custom cabinetry built-ins on both sides of the fireplace with arch accents, hidden storage and open shelving for collections. The outdoor living area consists of the screened-in porch that has a gas stone fireplace and access to the outdoor partial covered patio, grilling station and pool. There is a separate changing room and bathroom accessible only from the pool area.

Behind the kitchen is a hall with access to his and her offices, spare bedroom and bath, laundry and the mudroom with access to the garage. On the other side of the house is the primary suite. The bedroom has a tray ceiling and the bathroom has a long double sink vanity with a framed mirror with integrated sconce lighting and makeup area. The large glass enclosed shower has a bench, white tile that goes to the ceiling with a tile mosaic accent, niches and half wall.
